TOPIC: INNOCENCE IS NOT ENOUGH (EPISODE TWO)
BIBLE VERSE: For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NKJV)
The whole of Onigba-Iwofa continues to suffer in silence because they lack understanding. The fact that you are innocent does not immune you from attacks of adversaries. Some people have complained “but I have harmed no one and I have no human blood on my neck” So does the people of Onigba-Iwofa! They have committed no offence! How could they ever know that their heads were being used as trophies in an unknown underworld kingdom?
In the world of spiritual warfare, there are no demilitarized zones. You either belong to God or the devil. Therefore, you need not just innocence but POWER from on high!!! This can only come by surrendering completely to Jesus and living a life that please Him. When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7 (KJV)
I really pity the King of Onigba-Iwofa, he was a pawn in a chess game he was not aware of. As far as Folagbade was concerned, the epidemic was a result of the non-challant attitude of the villagers to personal and environmental hygiene. So, he led them to clear bushes around houses.
How can you fault that? He was damn right! However, he could not see beyond his nose. I pray for someone today, you will not be consumed by battles you know nothing about. Nevertheless, your innocence is not enough.
