TOPIC: THERE IS NO INDISPENSABLE MAN (EPISODE FOUR)
BIBLE VERSE: “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work” John 9:4 KJV
All men are born equally, but not all are sent equally! The value of every man is embedded in the achievement of the purpose for which he/she was sent into the world. Unfortunately, many have been consumed in the daily rat race of meeting domestic, professional and emotional needs, that they become totally submerged to the neglect of purposes for which they were created.
An old man whom I once knew fell into this trap. He did not discover the purpose for which God created him until the tail end of his life, at over eighty years old. The zeal to be what God wanted him to be suddenly came upon him heavily and he wanted to fulfill purpose. Unfortunately, his age, health and frail body refused to cooperate. He lamented and wept bitterly!
Many do not come to the realization of the fact that professions, jobs and businesses are only provided for by God to take care of our physical needs and advance humanity. There are deeper reasons why we exist, than doing well in vocations, amassing wealth and property acquisition. There is absolutely wrong with any of these (I have also acquired a few) However, beneath the façade of all these that we shall soon leave one day, is the reality of the true essence of life. What does God want me to be!!! One day, that office, job, profession will continue without you!!!
Spend the best part of your life to pursue why He sent you here. Dr. Morakinyo found his purpose for existence and made a choice to pursue it. Distractions from your purpose in life are mere facades. The words of Pastor Kalejaye to Morakinyo were actually true: “If you answer the call of God, will your students leave the school… or will the campus be shut down?” Never!!! There is no indispensable Man!!!
Wow! Awesome, only a man that has discovered purpose and he’s on the track of God’s purpose for His life can speak these words. Thank you sir.
I celebrate you greatly sir
